20-303. APPLICATIONS FOR CERTIFICATION.

(A)  IN GENERAL.

TO APPLY FOR CERTIFICATION, AN APPLICANT SHALL SUBMIT
AN APPLICATION TO THE BOARD ON THE FORM THAT THE BOARD
REQUIRES.

(B)  APPLICATION PROCEDURES.

THE SECRETARY SHALL ADOPT RULES AND REGULATIONS AS TO
APPLICATION PROCEDURES.

REVISOR'S NOTE: Subsection (a) of this section is
standard language added to this and, where
necessary, corresponding sections of other titles
of this article. It states expressly a provision
that presently is only implied in the law: i.e.,
that applications may be made only on the form
required by the Board.

Subsection (b) of this section is new language
derived without substantive change from the
reference to application procedures in the second
sentence of Art. 43, § 406A(c).

20-304. EXAMINATIONS.

(A)  RULES AND REGULATIONS.

THE SECRETARY SHALL ADOPT RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THE
EXAMINATION OF APPLICANTS.

(B)  RIGHT TO EXAMINATION.

AN APPLICANT WHO OTHERWISE QUALIFIES FOR CERTIFICATION
IS ENTITLED TO BE EXAMINED AS PROVIDED IN THIS SECTION.

(C)  TIME AND PLACE OF EXAMINATIONS.

THE BOARD SHALL GIVE EXAMINATIONS TO APPLICANTS AT
LEAST TWICE A YEAR, AT THE TIMES AND PLACES THAT THE BOARD
DETERMINES.

(D)  NOTICE OF EXAMINATION.

THE BOARD SHALL NOTIFY EACH QUALIFIED APPLICANT OF THE
TIME AND PLACE OF EXAMINATION.

(E) SUBJECTS AND METHOD OF EXAMINATION.
