Psychologists - Licensing

FOR the purpose of changing the certification requirements
and procedures for psychologists certified by the State
Board of Examiners of Psychologists to requirements and
procedures for licensing psychologists; creating a
definition of "practice psychology"; requiring that a
person must be licensed before practicing psychology;
creating certain exceptions to the requirement for a
license to practice psychology; changing certain
references to certified psychologists to references to
licensed psychologists; changing the short title of the
Maryland Psychologists Certification Act; providing for
licensing of persons presently certified; providing a
statement of legislative purpose and intent; making
stylistic changes; and generally relating to licensing
of psychologists.
