(IV)  A GENERAL LICENSE TO PRACTICE DENTAL
HYGIENE; AND

(V)  A TEACHER'S LICENSE TO PRACTICE DENTAL
HYGIENE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language added
to avoid needless repetition of a listing of the
several different licenses for which this title
provides.

On occasion, the term "licensee" is used in this
title to refer to a holder of any of the licenses
included in the definition of "license" in this
subsection.

(I) LICENSED DENTAL HYGIENIST.

(1)  "LICENSED DENTAL HYGIENIST" MEANS, UNLESS
THE CONTEXT REQUIRES OTHERWISE, A DENTAL HYGIENIST WHO IS
LICENSED BY THE BOARD TO PRACTICE DENTAL HYGIENE.

(2)  "LICENSED DENTAL HYGIENIST" INCLUDES, UNLESS
THE CONTEXT REQUIRES OTHERWISE, A HOLDER OF:

(I)  A GENERAL LICENSE TO PRACTICE DENTAL
HYGIENE; OR

(II)  A TEACHER'S LICENSE TO PRACTICE
DENTAL HYGIENE.

(J) LICENSED DENTIST.

(1)  "LICENSED DENTIST" MEANS, UNLESS THE CONTEXT
REQUIRES OTHERWISE, A DENTIST WHO IS LICENSED BY THE BOARD
TO PRACTICE DENTISTRY.

(2)  "LICENSED DENTIST" INCLUDES, UNLESS THE
CONTEXT REQUIRES OTHERWISE, A HOLDER OF:

DENTISTRY;
DENTISTRY; OR
DENTISTRY.

(I)  A GENERAL LICENSE TO PRACTICE

(II)  A LIMITED LICENSE TO PRACTICE

(III)  A TEACHER'S LICENSE TO PRACTICE
