going to or returning from the performance of any of the
foregoing. Such members shall not be deemed on duty when
they are attending social functions at which their
attendance or participation is not required by such written
bylaws or rules.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1981.

AN ACT concerning

Frederick County - Plumbing Permit

FOR the purpose of providing that an owner of a property,
whether or not licensed, may perform plumbing work on
any residential or commercial property owned by the
person if the person secures a permit.

BY adding to

The Public Local Laws of Frederick County
Section l-14-90(c)

Article 11 - Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1979 Edition, supplemented to April, 1980,
as amended)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as
follows:

Article 11 - Frederick County

1-14-90.

(C) IF A PERSON SECURES THE PROPER PERMIT, THE PERSON,
WHETHER OR NOT LICENSED, MAY PERFORM ANY PLUMBING WORK ON
ANY RESIDENTIAL OR COMMERCIAL PROPERTY OWNED BY THE PERSON.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1981.
