AN ACT concerning

Medical Examiners - Health Professionals Regulated

by the Board

FOR the purpose of requiring the Board of Medical Examiners
to report to the Commission on Medical Discipline
certain conduct that may lead to disciplinary action
against certain individuals.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article - Health Occupations
Section 14-205(b)(l)
Annotated Code of Maryland

(As enacted by Chapter ____ (H.B. 1) of the Acts

of the General Assembly of 1981)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland

(as enacted by Chapter ____ (H.B. 1) of the Acts of the

General Assembly of 1981) be repealed, amended, or enacted
to read as follows:

Article - Health Occupations

14-205.

(b) (1) In addition to the duties set forth elsewhere
in this title, the Board shall:

(i) Submit an annual report to the faculty
and to the secretary;

(ii) Issue, for use in other
jurisdictions, a certificate of professional standing to any
licensed physician;

(iii) Keep a list of all license
applicants; [and]

(iv) Report to the Commission any conduct
of a licensed physician that may be cause for disciplinary
action under § 14-504 of this title[.]; AND

(V) REPORT TO THE COMMISSION ANY CONDUCT
OF AN INDIVIDUAL REGULATED BY THE BOARD THAT MAY CAUSE THE
COMMISSION TO REPRIMAND OR PLACE THE INDIVIDUAL ON PROBATION
OR SUSPEND OR REVOKE THE REGISTRATION OR CERTIFICATION OF
THE INDIVIDUAL.

(V) REPORT TO THE COMMISSION ANY CONDUCT
OF A PHYSICIAN'S ASSISTANT, AN ACUPUNCTURIST, OR A CARDIAC

RESCUE TECHNICIAN, THAT MAY CAUSE THE COMMISSION TO

REPRIMAND OR PLACE A PHYSICIAN'S ASSISTANT, AN
