AN ACT concerning

State Board of Dental Examiners -
Disciplinary Proceedings

FOR the purpose of altering the requirements of service of
notice of disciplinary proceedings before the State
Board of Dental Examiners.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article - Health Occupations
Section 4-317(c)
Annotated Code of Maryland

(As enacted by Chapter ____ (H.B. 1) of the Acts

of the General Assembly of 1981)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland

(as enacted by Chapter ____ (H.B. 1) of the Acts of the

General Assembly of 1981) be repealed, amended, or enacted
to read as follows:

Article - Health Occupations

4-317.

(c) At least 10 days before the hearing, the hearing
notice and a copy of the complaint required by § 4-315 of
this subtitle shall be served on the individual[:

(1)  In person; or

(2)  If the Board is unable to serve the
individual in person,] by delivery to the last known
business and home addresses of the individual by [:

(i) Hand delivery; or

(ii) Registered] REGISTERED mail, RETURN
RECEIPT REQUESTED.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1981.
