(C) EXECUTION OF CERTIFICATES.

A LICENSE DOES NOT AUTHORIZE A LICENSEE TO EXECUTE OR
FILE A BIRTH OR DEATH CERTIFICATE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from Art. 43, §
504(b) and the last sentence of § 510.

Subsection (a) of this section is a standard
provision added for clarity to this and, where
necessary, other titles of this article.

Subsection (b) of this section is derived in part
from Art. 43, § 504(b). New language is added
for clarity.

In subsection (c) of this section, the word
"file" is substituted for the word "register" in
light of Art. 43, § 14(a)(2).

The first sentence of present Art. 43, § 510,
which refers to chiropractors being subject to
contagious disease regulations, is deleted as
misleading and repetitive of other provisions of
law.

3-308. RENEWAL OF LICENSE.

(A)  RENEWAL NOTICE.

BY AUGUST 1 OF EACH YEAR, THE SECRETARY-TREASURER OF
THE BOARD SHALL SEND TO EACH LICENSEE, BY FIRST CLASS MAIL
TO THE LAST KNOWN ADDRESS OF THE LICENSEE, A RENEWAL FORM
AND A RENEWAL NOTICE THAT STATES:

(1)  THAT THE RENEWAL APPLICATION AND FEE MUST BE
RECEIVED BY THE BOARD ON OR BEFORE SEPTEMBER 1; AND

(2)  THE AMOUNT OF THE RENEWAL FEE.

(B)  APPLICATIONS FOR RENEWAL.

A LICENSEE PERIODICALLY MAY RENEW A LICENSE FOR
ADDITIONAL 1-YEAR TERMS IF THE LICENSEE:

(1)  OTHERWISE IS ENTITLED TO BE LICENSED;

(2)  PAYS A RENEWAL FEE OF AT LEAST $20 AS SET BY
THE BOARD; AND

(3)  SUBMITS TO THE BOARD:

(I) A RENEWAL APPLICATION ON THE FORM THAT
THE BOARD REQUIRES; AND
