SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 41 - Governor - Executive and Administrative

Departments

116.

(e) The inmate may appeal to the circuit court [from
the] WITHIN 30 DAYS AFTER RECEIVING THE WRITTEN decision of
the Commission. The court shall hear the appeal on the
record.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1981.

AN ACT concerning

Exchange of Offenders Under Treaty - Authority
of Governor

FOR the purpose of authorizing the Commissioner of
Correction upon the consent of the Governor to transfer
or exchange convicted offenders under certain
conditions to the country of which they are citizens.
