(B) AN APPLICANT TO BE TESTED SHALL PAY AN EXAMINATION
FEE THAT REASONABLY APPROXIMATES THE COST OF ADMINISTERING
THE EXAMINATION, AS DETERMINED BY THE BOARD.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1981.

AN ACT concerning

Real Property - Recording of Plats

FOR the purpose of requiring certain materials be used for
plats submitted for recordation.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article - Real Property
Section 3-108(c)(2)
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1974 Volume and 1980 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article - Real Property

3-108.

(c) (2) The plat shall be legible, drawn accurately
and to scale and shall be submitted [on linen sheets] for
recordation USING BLACK INK ON TRANSPARENT MYLAR, OR LINEN
OR BLACK-LINE PHOTO PROCESS COMPARABLE TO ORIGINAL QUALITY
THAT WILL CONFORM TO ARCHIVAL STANDARDS. The State Highway
Administration may substitute microfilm aperture cards
showing property or rights-of-way to be acquired or granted.
Microfilm aperture cards must meet archival standards for
permanent records.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1981.
