                                         August Court 1702
        Mary Sheffield upon the oath of Mary Cockett was fined for Swearing
        four oaths, twenty Shillings. Which Mr. Henry Land Assumes to pay ~

        John Hunter upon his peto. form A Maintenance from the County is allowd
        two thousand Pounds of Tobacco to be paid in the next Levy. And
        Order’d yt. Same be paid him according to his necessity at the discretion
        of Capt. Ringold and Mr. Charles Hynson
