	=diction of this Court The fear of god before his Eÿes not have

      on y^e 28^th Daÿ of Julÿ an^o Dñi 1704 Did w^ch one Jane Waÿ Serv^t. to William Wor=
     =rell of this Countÿ begett a base born Child to y^e Great Scandall of Christian religion
      and Contrarÿ to a Certaine act of assemblÿ in y^t Case made & p^rvided

        Which Said bill of Indictm^t. being Endorsed viz^t Billa vera W^m. Worrell fore man
      And y^e S^d Def^t being Called to y^e barr he appears, and in answer to y^e p^rmisses
       he Sayeth he is not Guiltÿ and of this putts himselfe upon y^e Countrÿ
                                              And y^t fallows fo^r y^e Queen in like mann^r            GLumleÿ Clk

      But after this Issue being Joÿned the Court advises him to Submitt to y^e fact
      afs^d, and thereupon he Submitts , Whereupon Comãnd is Given to y^e Sher^f of
      Kent Countÿ to take y^e Said Daniel ffarrell and there to Give him 21 lashes
      upon y^e bare back well Laÿde on , and y^e S^d Sher^f retⁿ his p^rcept Endorsed
      w^th these words         Executed p^r me Edward Scott Sher^f —————
        And the Said Daniel is brought into Court againe , Whereupon Comes y^e
      above named William Worrell alledgeth y^t hath his Serv^t bÿ means y^e S^d Daniel
      Getting her w^th Child w^th Severall other Allegations and praÿs this Court y^t
      Inspect into y^e p^rmisses, and the Justices here this 28^th Daÿ of August anno
      Dñi 1705 haveing heard all y^e p^rceeding, Theÿ y^e S^d Justices Doe order
      y^e S^d Daniel to paÿ y^e Said William |in Satisfaction &c^a) y^e Sum^e of two
      thousand pounds of tob^o, and to paÿ y^e fees y^t accrewes in these p^rceed
