      Hundred twentÿ and four pounds of good Sound Merchantable leafe tob^o when he Should be
      thereunto required; Nevertheless the afs^d John in his life time nor the afs^d Sarah in y^e Capacity
      afs^d after his Death att anÿ time Dureing her widdowhood, nor the S^d William Sigley, att Any
      time Since y^e Espousalls between him and y^e Said Sarah had & Solemnized alltho^h often
      required y^e afs^d five thousand Seaven hundred twentÿ and four pounds of tobacco according
      to the ten^r of y^e Same writeing obligatorÿ unto y^e S^d James Did not rend^r. but y^e Same to
      him to rend^r. have Denyed, and Doe Deny and unjustlÿ Detaine. Whereupon he Saith
      y^t he is worse and hath Damãge to y^e vallue of 11448^ls of tobacco and thereupon he

      Whereupon the Said Deft^s app^rs. and bÿ Benjⁿ Peacke their att^rÿ praÿs leave to Imp^rle

      att which Said next Court this Cause was Continued untill next Court and Soe Contained
      from Court to Court untill this p^rs^t Court att which p^rsent Court being the 27^th Daÿ
      of March ann^o Dñi 1705 Comes y^e S^d pltf bÿ att^rÿ afs^d and prays Judg^t fo^r y^t y^e
      S^d Defts hath not filed anÿ plea or answer |to the Decloⁿ afs^d ) according to the
      rules of this Court, nor maketh noe Defence of y^e accõn afs^d neither bÿ them
:    Selves or their att^rÿ: Which being bÿ y^e Court heard and understood it is
      Therefore Considered here bÿ y^e Justices this 27^th Daÿ afs^d y^t y^e Said James Wroth
      Dore ag^t y^e S^d William Sigleÿ and Sarah his wife in their afs^d Capacitie as well
      the Sum^e of five thousand Seaven hundred twentÿ and four pounds of tobacco quall=
   = ÿfÿed as afs^d, when assetts, as y^e Sum^e of three hundred twentÿ and four pounds of tob^o

	w^th Credit Given &c^a amounting in y^e whole to y^e Sum^e afs^d as p^r a Decloⁿ and

      acc^t filed in this^Courtin Due form bÿ Michael Earle att^rÿ y^e S^d pltf the Same –
      app^rs, and the Said John Layd bÿ Christopher Phillipson his att^rÿ appeared
      and prayed leave to Imp^rle thereunto untill next Court w^ch was Granted him
      the Same Daÿ was Given y^e pltf, allsoe att w^ch S^d next Court this accõn was~
      Continued and Soe it was Continued from Court to Court untill this p^rsent Court att w^ch
      Said p^rsent Court bein on y^e 27^th Daÿ of March anno Dñi 1705 Comes y^e S^d
      pltf bÿ his att^rÿ afs^d and prays Judg^t fo^r y^t y^e S^d Def^t Cometh not, nor
      hath filed his plea neither bÿ himselfe nor his att^rÿ) according to y^e rules
      of this Court, which being bÿ y^e Court heard and fullÿ understood
          Therefore it is Considered here bÿ y^e Justices this 27^th Daÿ afs^d
      that y^t y^e Said pltf recov^r ag^t y^e S^d Def^t as well y^e Sum^e of three hun:
   = dred and five pounds of tob^o And one halfe pound y^e Debt afs^d as y^e Sum^e
