38)   And the Said Comision being read as afd The Ussuall oath of Sherf Was
        Administred together with the oaths in the Said Comission Expressed
        unto the Said John Hawkins who took them Accordingly, and gave bond wth=
        two Sufficient Suretys for the due prosecution of his office afd according
        to the directions of the above Comission and was thereupon Admitted ~
