      Morgin Richard ffillinhame who being Elected ~~trÿed~~ & Sworn to try y^e Issue Joÿned
      and y^e truth in y^e p^rmisses are Sent out, and in a little^timereturns, who being call over
      as Impañeled, and Examined whether theÿ have agreed in their verdict, theÿ make
      answer theÿ have, and their forman is to Speake for em, who answers y^t ~

     Conditioned tob^o & Cask w^ch to him he oweth & from him^heunjustlÿ Detaines —
     as maÿ appear | more att large ) bÿ a Declaⁿ filed in this ~~office~~ Court & a bill
     thereunto añexed, in Due form &c^a
      Whereupon y^e S^d William Miller Comes in his proper p^rson & Saÿeth y^t he
    Cannot gainesaÿ y^e pltf in his accon afs^d Soe as afs^d brought nor but y^t he is
    Justlÿ Indebted unto y^e S^d pltf in y^e Sum^e afs^d, & is therefore Willing y^t Jug^t
     be Intred ag^t him for y^e Same
      It is therefore Considered here bÿ y^e Court this Daÿ to witt y^e 25^th Daÿ of
     Ja^rÿ anno Dni 1703⁴ that y^e S^d Edward Steaphenson recover ag^t y^e S^d W^m:
     Miller as well y^e Sum^e 534^ls of tob^o y^e afs^d as y^e Sum^e of 265^ls of tob^o Cost of
      Suit & y^e Def^t in mercÿ &c^a.

Anthonÿ Richardson	\| Comãnd was Given to y^e Sher^f of Kent Countÿ y^e
a^t	\| 25^th Daÿ of Aug^t anno Dni 1703, to take John Young if
John Young ~ ~	\| to be found in his bailewick & to have his bodÿ before
	the Justices of next Countÿ Court then fallowing
	to answer unto Anthonÿ Richardson of a plea of tres=
	pass upon y^e Case

      And when y^e Daÿ of y^e return of y^e writt Came, y^e S^d Sher^f made ret^r hereof
      Cepi p^r John Hawkins, Whereupon y^e S^d ~~pltf bÿ~~ Def^t appears and
      bÿ Michael Earle his att^rÿ praÿs leave to Imparle hereunto untill next
      Court w^ch is Granted him y^e Same Daÿ is Given y^e pltf allsoe
      att w^ch: S^d next Court to witt on 24^th Daÿ of Aug^t 1703 this accõn was Continued
      & Still was Continued from Court untill this present
