      in y^e Jurisdiction of this Court bÿ his Certaine bill or writeing obligatorÿ ~
      Sealed w^th his Seal as his act & Deed Delivered & here in Court brought whose
      Date is y^e Daÿ & year afs^d Did bind himselfe ~~[illegible]~~ his heires Ex^rs: & adm^rs
      to paÿ or Cause to be paid unto the S^d John Langleÿ or his heires Ex^rs:
      adm^rs: or assignes y^e S^d Sum^e of 506^ls of tob^o quallified as afs^d Convenient
      in Chester River att or upon the tenth Daÿ of November Next Ensueing
      the Date of y^e Same bill obligatorÿ yett notw^thStanding y^e S^d Will^m~
      Hollinsworth in his life time nor y^e afs^d Sarah after y^e Death of y^e
      afs^d W^m: whilst She was Sole nor the S^d Tho: & Sarah after Espousalls —
      between them Celebrated altho^h often required y^e afs^d 506^ls of tobacco to him
      the S^d John theÿ have not rendered but y^e Same to him theÿ have Denÿed
      and y^e afs^d Tho: & Sarah y^e Same to him to rend^r |as yett Doth) Denÿ & unjust=
     =lÿ Detaine, whereupon he Saÿs that he is Damnifÿed & hath Damãges to y^e
      value of 1012^ls of tob^o & thereupon he brings his action Macklin p^r q^r

Hollinsworth	\| and Defends the force & Eniurÿ when &c^a & for plea Saÿ=
ad^s	\| = eth true it is the S^d Intestate in his life time Did Seal
John Langleÿ	\| and Deliver unto y^e S^d pltf one Obligation for y^e Sum^e of
	five hundred & Six pounds of tobacco as in the S^d pltfs
	Declaⁿ is mentioned, but Since y^e Sealing & Delivering of y^e
	S^d obligation the S^d Intestate in his life time Did paÿ
	unto y^e S^d pltf y^e S^d Intestate in his life time Did paÿ
	tobacco in S^d Declaⁿ mentioned, w^ch theÿ are readÿ to aver, and —

        Whereupon Comãnd is Given to y^e Sher^f of Kent Countÿ y^t he Imediatlÿ
      Cause to Come here twelve &c^a— bÿ whome &c^a who neither &c^a because
      as well &c^a of w^ch: S^d p^rcept y^e Sher^f makes ret^r that he has here readÿ —

      to Saÿ y^e truth in the premisses and haveing heard the pleading & alleg=
