	now Setting his Certaine bill ag^t Geo: Lumleÿ als Dicts

	in Court in his proper person of a plea y^t he rend^r: him y^e full
	& Just quantÿtie of two thousand pounds of good Sound merchant:
	: able tobacco & Cask w^ch: to him he oweth & from him ^heunjust:

      And Whereupon y^e S^d Richard Moore bÿ his afs^d att^rÿ Says y^t whereas y^e S^d George
      y^e 20^th Daÿ of aprill anno Dni 1702 att Kent Countÿ w^thin y^e Jurisdiction of this
      Court bÿ his Certaine bill or writeing obligatorÿ Sealed w^th his Seal as his
      Act & Deed Delivered & here^toin Court brought whose Date is y^e Daÿ &
      year afs^d Did bind himselfe his heirs Ex^rs: adm^rs to paÿ or Cause to be paid
      unto y^e S^d Richard Moore his heires Ex^rs: adm^rs: or assignes y^e afs^d Sum^e of
      two thousand pounds of tob^o quallifÿed as afs^d Convenient in y^e afs^d
      Countÿ att or upon y^e 20^th Daÿ of octobr Next Ensueing y^e Date of y^e Same
      bill Yett nottw^thstand y^e S^d George y^e afs^d Sum^e of two thousand^ls of tob^o ~
      hath Not paid but y^e Same as yett hath & Still Doth Denÿ and unjustlÿ De=
     =taine to y^e Damãge: of y^e S^d Richard Moore 4000^ls of tob^o and thereupon he
      brings this Suit    Macklin p^r q^r: Pledges &c^a. Joⁿ Doe Richd Roe

      Cause being Continued & Soe from Court to Court untill this p^rsent Court
      to witt This twentÿ Eight Daÿ of 7ber anno Dni 1703 The S^d Def^t ~
      Comes in his prop^r person & Saÿeth y^t he Can not Gainsaÿ y^e pltf in
      his accon Soe as afs^d brought, nor but y^t he is & Stands Justlÿ Indebt:
     =ed unto y^e S^d pltf in the S^d Sum^e of 2000^ls of tob^o and is therefore willing
      y^t Judgm^t be Intred ag^t him for y^e Same ~
             It is Therefore Considered bÿ the Court here this Daÿ to witt the
      twentÿ Eight Daÿ of 7ber an^o Dni 1703 That y^e S^d Richard Mason Recover
      ag^t y^e S^d George Lumleÿ as well y^e Sum^e of two thousand pounds of tobacco
      the Debt afsd^d as y^e Sum^e of one hundred pounds of tobacco^forhis Cost laid out

	Ex^r of y^e last will & testam^t of Edward ffreÿ late of Kent Countÿ
- — — -	Inholder Deceased of a plea of trespass upon y^e Case

           And whereupon y^e S^d Edward Scott bÿ Richard Macklin his att^rÿ complaines
      y^t whereas y^e S^d Edward Scott att y^e Speciall Instance & request of y^e S^d Edward ffreÿ
      in his lifetime to witt y^e 24^th Daÿ of august an^o 1702 and att Divers Daÿs & times
      afterwards untill y^e 5^th Daÿ of ffeb^rÿ in y^e Same year att Kent Countÿ w^thin
      the Jurisdiction of this Court the S^d Edward Scott had Sold and Delivered
      unto y^e S^d Edward ffreÿ Divers goods warres & merchandizes and allsoe Did
      Give Credit To Severall persons as appears bÿ an acc^t to this Declⁿ ann=
