      Said John Sold & Delivered unto him ye Said Charles Divers goods warres and
      merchandizes; & allsoe att ye like Instance & request in the aforesd year wthin
      ye Jurisdiction aforesd ye Said Jon Did Cause one of his Servts: to work
      for Said Charles Devrs: Daÿs all which Said goods warr’s & merchandizes Sold
      and Delivered & work Done apprs bÿ an acct to this Decln annexed and here
      in Court produced amõunting in the whole to ye. Sume of twelve hundred ~
      thirtÿ five pounds of tobacco, In Consideration Thereof the Said Charles upon
      himselfe assumed and unto the Said John faithfullÿ promissed that he ye
      Said Charles the aforesaid Sume of 1235ls tobo unto the Said John he would well
      and truelÿ paÿ when thereunto afterwards required Yett nevertheless the ye Sd
      Charles his promisse & assumption before made not minding nor regarding
      but plotting Contriveing and fraudulentlÿ Indending him ye Said John in this
      behalfe Craftÿlÿ & Subtilelÿ to Deceive and Defraud ye aforesd 1235ls tobo ~
      to paÿ he hath Denÿed & refused and Still Doth Denÿ & refuse & unjustlÿ
      Detaine to ye Damage of ye Said John 2400ls tobo & thereupon he ~~
      he brings this Suite      Earle    pr qr Pledges &ca: Jon Doe Roe —
