Janry Court 1702 that She the Said Issabella the twentyeth day of Novr. Anno Dmi 1702 At Island Creek hundred At Kent County within the Jurisdiction of this Court was Delivered of A Bastard Child against the peace of our Sovñ Lady the Queen and against the forme of the act of Assembly in that Case Made & provid: :ed ~ Macklin pr Dna Rega: ~ And A Vene fas having Issued at the Sd. Isabella, She now Appeares and Submitts to the Court upon the indictmt: afd And Also Makes oath that David Brown is the father of her Sd Base born Child It is therefore Considered by the Court here that the Said Issa: :bella Hutson And David Brown Serve George Smith for the Space of Six months each in consideration of the damage occa: :sioned to him by the Abuse of his house And that the Sd Issabella be fined unto her Sd Majty the Sume of twenty Shillings Sterg ~ Thereupon Comes into Court the abovesd. Dixon Felloniously he did take and Lead away against the peace of our Lady the Queen and against the form of the Act of Assembly in that Case made and provided. Hackett foreman And A Vene fas. having here upon Issued to the Coronr. of Kent County at the Said John Hawkins He Appeared And this Cause was Contd. from Court to Court from the twenty Second day of Sepr untill this twenty Sixth day of Janry when the Said John Hawkins Appeares to the indictmt: afd and Sayth that he is not guilty of the premises and for Tryall puts himself upon the Countrey. And the Sd Richd. Macklin who follows for our Lady the Queen ~ in like manner Thereupon Command is given the Coroner of Kent County that he Immediatly Cause to Come here twelve &ca. by whom &ca. to recognize &ca. because as well &ca- And the Said Coroner now rets. that he has here ready twelve &ca.
