15) unjustly detains hereof faile not at y^r. perill And have you then and there this
        writt &c^a. At which Said fourth Tuesday of Jan^ry To wit the Twenty Seventh
        day of the Same Month Comes into Court the Sher^f of Kent County and Makes retⁿ
        of his Said Writt Endorsed Cepi Corpus;       Whereupon Comes the Said James
        Donnaha in his proper person into Open Court And Sayth that he cannot gainsay
        the plaint^f. his accon So as afd against him brought nor but the is Justly indebt^d
        unto him in the Sume afd And is therefore willing that Judg^t. be entered ag^t. him
        upon the Writ afd for the Same ~~
                  Which being by the Court heard and understood it is by them
        Considered that the Said W^m. Bateman of Cecill County afd recover ag^t. the
        Said James Donnaha as well the Sume of Two thousand nine hundred
        pounds of good Sound Merchantable Tob^o. and casq afd as the Sume of
        two hundred and twenty one       pounds of Tobacco cost of Suit & the
        Defendant in Mercy &c^a. ———
