      And Arms Six peices of heading fitted and prepared for tobacco hhds
      the proper goods and Chattells of a certaine Daniel Perry of the price
      of two pence felloniously he did take and bear away agt. the peace
      of our Said Lady the Queen and agt. the form of the act of Assembly
      in yt. case made and provided Macklin pr Doma RegĐ ——
             And now here this day to wit this twenty Secnd day of Septr:
      Anno Dmi. 1702 this Tryall have been Contd. from Srall Corts untill
      this twenty Second day of Septr. afd the Sd Defendt. was Called
      to the barr to Answer the Prmises Who for plea Sayth yt. he
      is not guilty and for Tryall puts himself upon the Countrey —
      And the Sd. Richd Macklin who follows &ca. Siliter [?]
             Whereupon Comand is given the Sherf of Kent County yt. he –
      Immediately Case to Come here Twelve &ca. by whom &ca. who unto
      &ca. to recognize because as well &ca. of which Sd precept the Sherf
      makes retn Endorse yt. he has here twelve &ca. As by the precept he
      was Commanded ======= Vizt: Thomas Covington Wm. Blay Alexr.
      Graves Rice Jones Benja. Bond Stephen Whettston David Davison
      Robt. Foreman Tho Usher Robt. Ingram Edwd. Carrill John Merriday
      Who being Elected Tryed and Sworn to Say the Truth in ye prmises
      do Say upon their oaths yt. the Said John Ponder is not Guilty of
      ye. prmises. Which being    by the Court heard and understood it is by
      them Considered the Same day And year yt. ye. Sd. John Ponder go there=
      :of without day and be acquitted from ye. Indictmt. afd paying
        his fees //
