                                         Sept^r. Court 1702
      And Arms Six peices of heading fitted and prepared for tobacco hhds
      the proper goods and Chattells of a certaine Daniel Perry of the price
      of two pence felloniously he did take and bear away ag^t. the peace
      of our Said Lady the Queen and ag^t. the form of the act of Assembly
      in y^t. case made and provided Macklin p^r Doma RegĐ ——
             And now here this day to wit this twenty Secnd day of Sept^r:
      Anno Dmⁱ. 1702 this Tryall have been Cont^d. from Srall Co^rts untill
      this twenty Second day of Sept^r. afd the S^d Defend^t. was Called
      to the barr to Answer the P^rmises Who for plea Sayth y^t. he
      is not guilty and for Tryall puts himself upon the Countrey —
      And the S^d. Rich^d Macklin who follows &c^a. Siliter [?]
             Whereupon Comand is given the Sher^f of Kent County y^t. he –
      Immediately Case to Come here Twelve &c^a. by whom &c^a. who unto
      &c^a. to recognize because as well &c^a. of which S^d precept the Sher^f
      makes retⁿ Endorse y^t. he has here twelve &c^a. As by the precept he
      was Commanded ======= Viz^t: Thomas Covington W^m. Blay Alex^r.
      Graves Rice Jones Benj^a. Bond Stephen Whettston David Davison
      Rob^t. Foreman Tho Usher Rob^t. Ingram Edw^d. Carrill John Merriday
      Who being Elected Tryed and Sworn to Say the Truth in y^e p^rmises
      do Say upon their oaths y^t. the Said John Ponder is not Guilty of
      y^e. p^rmises. Which being    by the Court heard and understood it is by
      them Considered the Same day And year y^t. y^e. S^d. John Ponder go there=
      :of without day and be acquitted from y^e. Indict^mt. afd paying
        his fees //

a^t	\| taking and bearing away one barrow hogg of y^e. price of four
D^o-	\| hundred pounds of the p^rp^r goods and Chells of a certaine Tho: Scottin
	was cleared by y^e. pettit Jury afd and acquitted as afd

D^o. a^t	\| The S^d. Rich^d. Ponder being Endicted for Stealing y^e. hogg afd
Rich^d. Ponder	\| was acquitted by y^e. Co^rt upon virdict of y^e. Jury as aboves^d:
	\| paying his fees —
