CHAPTER 176

(House Bill 672)

AN ACT concerning

Private Detectives - Licensed Business

FOR the purpose of providing that an individual licensee who
is a resident of Maryland shall be in direction,
charge, control, or management of the offices of a
licensed firm, association, individual, or corporation.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 56 - Licenses

Section 76(d)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1972 Replacement Volume and 1979 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 56 - Licenses

76.

(d) The offices of a licensed firm, association,
INDIVIDUAL, or corporation shall be supervised by an
individual licensee who is IN DIRECTION, CHARGE, CONTROL, OR
MANAGEMENT AND WHO IS a resident of Maryland.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1980.
