(h) Members of the several boards shall receive
compensation as follows:

(7) Worcester County—[Fifteen hundred dollars
($1500.00)] $2,500 per annum, with a mileage fee [of ten
cents (10¢) per mile] when in attendance upon meetings AS
SPECIFIED BY THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS IN THE ANNUAL BUDGET.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
may not be construed to extend or apply to the salary of the
Liquor Control Board members in office on the effective date
of this Act, but the provisions of this Act concerning the
salary of the Liquor Control Board members shall take effect
at the beginning of the next following term of office.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1980.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:
