($100,000) for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1966; one
hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for the fiscal year
ending June 30, 1967; one hundred thousand dollars
($100,000) for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1968; one
hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for the fiscal year
ending June 30, 1969; and one hundred thousand dollars
($100,000) for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1970. Any
unexpended balance of any or all such appropriations shall
be carried forward to succeeding fiscal years for the
purposes aforesaid.

The provisions of this subtitle are severable, and if
any of its provisions are held unconstitutional by any court
of competent jurisdiction, the decision of such court shall
not affect or impair any of the remaining provisions.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That upon the
taking effect of the provisions of Chapter_____of the Acts
of 1980 (House Bill No. 1) or of any other bill which
repeals all those sections of the Annotated Code of Maryland
which are repealed and reenacted without amendment by this
Act, this Act shall be null and void ABROGATED AND OF NO
FURTHER FORCE AND EFFECT without the necessity of further
action by the General Assembly.
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency measure and necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public health and safety
and having been passed by a yea and nay vote supported by
three-fifths of all the members elected to each of the two
Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Somerset County - Alcoholic Beverages
(Licenses - Clubs)
FOR the purpose of altering, in Somerset County, the number
of members required before an application may be made
for a certain on-sale alcoholic beverages license by
any lodge or chapter of a bona fide nonprofit and
nationwide fraternal or sororal organization.
