GENERAL REVISOR'S NOTE:

In revising this subtitle, the Commission to Revise the
Annotated Code deleted present Article 41, § 266CC. This
section, which provides for the severability of the
provisions of this subtitle, is unnecessary in light of Art.
1, § 23 of the Code to the same effect.

The Commission also deleted as obsolete present Art.
41, § 266W(f), which set the effective dates for what is now
Part V of this subtitle.

Chapter 496, Acts of 1979, deleted numerous references
to "mortgage loans" and substituted "loans". The apparent
intent of these amendments was to enable the Authority to
approve uninsured loans that were not mortgage loans.
However, the title of that Act is silent as to these
amendments. Therefore, to conform to what appears to be the
present law governing loans approved by the Authority, the
term "mortgage loan" is used throughout the provisions
governing both insurance and approval of loans.
