In the introductory clause to paragraph (2) of
this subsection, the present phrase "without
intending thereby to limit the generality ..." is
deleted as unnecessary in light of the definition
of "includes" in § 1-101 of this article to the
same effect.

In paragraph (2)(v) of this subsection, the words
"approval of" are added for clarity.

In paragraph (3) of this subsection, the phrase
"fair market value of the assets for which the
costs were incurred" is substituted for the
somewhat inaccurate reference "fair market value
of such costs".

As to paragraphs (1)(ii) and (iii), (2) (v), and
(3) of this subsection and the references to
"mortgage" loans, see the General Revisor's Note
to this subtitle.

(D)        DEPARTMENT.

"DEPARTMENT" MEANS THE DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC AND
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language added
to avoid unnecessary repetition in this subtitle
of the full title of the Department.

(E)       FUND.

"FUND" MEANS THE INDUSTRIAL PROJECT MORTGAGE INSURANCE

FUND.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language derived
without substantive change from the definition
appearing in the parenthetical clause of the
first sentence of Art. 41, § 266S (a).

(F)       INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY.

"INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY" MEANS AN INDUSTRIAL
DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY CREATED UNDER ARTICLE 41, §§ 266A-1
AND 266A-2 OF THE CODE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language added
for simplicity and to avoid unnecessary
repetition in this subtitle of the statute under
which this authority is created.

(G)       INDUSTRIAL PROJECT.
