in fact, is inconsistent with the notice
requirements of the Administrative Procedure Act,
Art. 41, §§ 250A and 251 of the Code.
Accordingly, subsection (d) of this section is
revised so that, when read in conjunction with §
12-317 of this subtitle, it will conform to the
requisites of the Administrative Procedure Act.

As to present Art. 66, § 46 (b) and the grounds
specified in it for denial of an application, see
§ 12-305 of this subtitle.

12-308. CONTENTS AND SCOPE OF LICENSES; ADDITIONAL
LICENSES.

(A)   CONTENTS.

THE BANK COMMISSIONER SHALL INCLUDE ON EACH LICENSE:

(1)   THE NAME OF THE LICENSEE; AND

(2)   THE ADDRESS AT WHICH THE BUSINESS IS TO BE
CONDUCTED.

(B)   SCOPE OF LICENSE.

(1)   A LICENSE AUTHORIZES THE LICENSEE TO DO
BUSINESS UNDER THE LICENSE, AT THE LICENSED PLACE OF
BUSINESS AND UNDER THE NAME STATED ON THE LICENSE.

(2)   ONLY ONE PLACE OF BUSINESS MAY BE MAINTAINED
UNDER ANY ONE LICENSE.

(C)       ADDITIONAL LICENSES.

THE BANK COMMISSIONER MAY ISSUE MORE THAN ONE LICENSE
TO AN APPLICANT WHO:

(1)       COMPLIES WITH § 12-306 OF THIS SUBTITLE; AND

(2)      OTHERWISE MEETS THE REQUIREMENTS OF THIS
SUBTITLE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from the entire first
sentence and the first and last clauses of the
second sentence of present Art. 66, § 48 and are
revised to conform to similar provisions
elsewhere in this article.

12-309. TERM AND RENEWAL OF LICENSES.

(A) TERM.

A LICENSE EXPIRES ON THE DECEMBER 31 AFTER ITS
EFFECTIVE DATE, UNLESS IT IS RENEWED FOR A 1-YEAR TERM AS
PROVIDED IN THIS SECTION.
