(C) ADDITIONAL LICENSES.

THE COMMISSIONER MAY ISSUE MORE THAN ONE LICENSE TO AN
APPLICANT WHO:

(1)       COMPLIES WITH § 11-406 OF THIS SUBTITLE; AND

(2)       OTHERWISE MEETS THE REQUIREMENTS OF THIS
SUBTITLE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from Art. 83, §
157(d) and the first sentence of § 158(a).

It is revised to conform to similar provisions
elsewhere in this article.

11-409. TERM OF LICENSES; LICENSEE MAY OBTAIN NEW LICENSE.

(A)       TERM.

A LICENSE EXPIRES ON DECEMBER 31 OF THE YEAR IN WHICH
IT WAS ISSUED.

(B)   NEW LICENSE.

BEFORE A LICENSE EXPIRES, THE LICENSEE MAY APPLY FOR A
NEW LICENSE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from Art. 83, 8
157(c).

Subsection (b) of this section is added to
clarify that a licensee who wishes to obtain a
new license on the expiration of the license may
apply before the present license expires. Note
that — since the applicant is applying for a new
license — the licensee would have to meet all
the requisites of §§ 11-404, 11-405, and 11-406
of this subtitle, including, it appears, payment
of an investigation fee.

11-410. LICENSE NOT TRANSFERABLE; DISPLAY.

(A)       NOT TRANSFERABLE.

A LICENSE IS NOT TRANSFERABLE.

(B)       DISPLAY.

EACH LICENSEE SHALL DISPLAY THE LICENSE CONSPICUOUSLY
AT THE LICENSEE'S PLACE OF BUSINESS.
