SUBTITLE.

(1)       COMPLIES WITH § 11-206 OF THIS SUBTITLE; AND

(2)       OTHERWISE MEETS THE REQUIREMENTS OF THIS

REVISOR'S NOTE: Subsections (a) and (b) of this section
are new language derived without substantive
change from Art. 58A, § 9(a) and are revised to
conform to similar provisions elsewhere in this
article.

Subsection (c) of this section is new language
added to state expressly what is now implicit.

11-209. TERM AND RENEWAL OF LICENSES.

(A)       TERM.

A LICENSE EXPIRES ON THE JUNE 30 AFTER ITS EFFECTIVE
DATE, UNLESS IT IS RENEWED FOR A 1-YEAR TERM AS PROVIDED IN
THIS SECTION.

(B)       APPLICATIONS FOR RENEWAL.

ON OR BEFORE JUNE 1, A LICENSEE MAY RENEW THE LICENSE
FOR AN ADDITIONAL 1-YEAR TERM, IF THE LICENSEE:

(1)   OTHERWISE IS ENTITLED TO BE LICENSED;

(2)   PAYS TO THE COMMISSIONER A RENEWAL FEE OF
$850; AND

(3)   SUBMITS TO THE COMMISSIONER A RENEWAL
APPLICATION ON THE FORM THAT THE COMMISSIONER REQUIRES.

(C)   WAIVES OF REQUIREMENTS.

THE COMMISSIONER MAY WAIVE THE REQUIREMENTS OF §
11-205(1) AND (2) OF THIS SUBTITLE FOR THE RENEWAL OF A
LICENSE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from the first clause
of Art. 58A, § 4(b)(2) and from Art. 58A, § 5.

In subsection (b) of this section, the
requirement that a licensee "otherwise {be}
entitled to be licensed" to have the license
renewed is added as implied by subsection (c) of
this section, which permits the Commissioner to
waive this requirement to some extent.

11-210. LICENSE NOT TRANSFERABLE; DISPLAY.

(A) NOT TRANSFERABLE.

A LICENSE IS NOT TRANSFERABLE.
