corporation shall determine which index is to be applied.

Chapter 55

AN ACT to amend Chapter 51, title "Swimming Pools",
Section 51-1, title "Definitions", to amend the definition
of "approving authority", to delete the definition of
"operator", to add a definition of "pool operator", to amend
the definition of "owner", and to add a definition of "pool
management company"; to amend Section 51-4, title "Duties
and responsibilities under chapter", subsections (a), (b),
(c), (d), (f), for purposes of clarification; to amend
Section 51-5, "Permits", subsections (c), (f), (h), for
purposes of clarification; to delete reference to the state
department of health and mental hygiene from subsection
51-7(c), title "Manual for public swimming pool
construction"; to amend Section 51-8, title, "Operating
standards for public swimming pools", to delete subsection
51-8(g), to add a new subsection, to be titled "Manual on
public swimming pool operations", for purposes of
clarification, and to renumber all subsections to reflect
these changes; to amend Section 51-9, title "license for
public swimming pools; lifeguards", to be titled "License
for swimming pool operators; lifeguards", to amend
subsection 51-9(a) for purposes of clarification, to delete
reference to revocation of license from subsection 51-9(f),
and to add a new subsection 51-9(g), dealing with revocation
of license; to add a new Section 51-9A, to be titled
"Registration for pool management companies"; to amend
Section 51-11, title "Fees", to provide for a registration
fee for pool management companies; to amend Section 51-13,
title "Appeals from revocation or suspension of license or
permit", to be titled "Appeals from revocation or suspension
of license, permit or registration", to clarify appeal
procedures, and to establish appeal procedures for
registered pool management companies.
