ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY

WHEREAS, Subtitle 23 of Title 12 of the Anne    Arundel

County Code was adopted to promote and protect the  health,

safety and welfare of physically disabled and aged    persons
in Anne Arundel County; and

WHEREAS, The property subject to such subtitle is
privately owned and used by the public; and

WHEREAS, The purpose of this ordinance is to require
that public facilities for the handicapped be properly
constructed and maintained; now, therefore,

Effective Date February 12, 1980.

Bill No. 157-79

AN ORDINANCE to add new Section 6-100A to the Anne
Arundel County Code (1967 Edition and Supplements). Title 6,
"Crimes and Misdemeanors", Subtitle 1, "Generally", to
prohibit, with certain exceptions, the consumption of
certain alcoholic beverages and the possession of certain
alcoholic beverage containers on public highways, roads and
other public ways, to establish a penalty for certain
violations, establishing certain definitions and generally
relating to the regulation of consumption of alcoholic
beverages or possession of open alcoholic beverage
containers on public roads.

AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to repeal and reenact, with
amendments, Sections 11-401 and ll-409(j) of the Anne
Arundel County Code (1967 Edition and Supplements), Title
11, "Health and Welfare", Subtitle 4, "Sanitary Landfills";
to enact new subsection 11-408(g) and add such subsection to
said Code, Title, and Subtitle; to further define the terms
hazardous, TOXIC and special wastes; to establish certain
license and permit fees and bond requirements; to provide
that the application for the approval of the depositing of
hazardous, TOXIC and special wastes shall be on a prescribed
form; to require a manifest to accompany certain shipments;
to prohibit the landfilling in Anne Arundel County of
certain wastes not generated in the County; TO PERMIT
REQUESTS FOR INJUNCTIVE RELIEF OR OTHER APPROPRIATE REMEDIES
FOR SUBTITLE VIOLATION; to prohibit the transportation on
the roads of Anne Arundel County, OR IN THE COASTAL ZONES AS
DEFINED IN THE COASTAL ZONE COMMISSION OF ANNE ARUNDEL
COUNTY REPORT, of such wastes not generated in the County,
and generally relating to the regulation of transporting and
disposal of dangerous substances in Anne Arundel County.
