AN ORDINANCE to repeal Section 1-200(c) of the Anne
Arundel County Code (1967 Edition and Supplements), Title 1,
"Administration, Subtitle 2, "Personnel", Article I, "Exempt
Service", and to enact new Section 1-200(c) in lieu thereof
to stand in the place of the Section repealed; to provide
for salary increases within the Executive Pay Plan; and
matters generally related thereto.

AN ORDINANCE to add new Section 17-711(j) to the Anne
Arundel County Code (1967 Edition and Supplements), Title
17, "Taxation", Subtitle 7, "Miscellaneous Taxes" to
dedicate certain transfer tax revenues to the water and
wastewater utility fund to be used for certain purposes; and
matters generally related thereto.
WHEREAS, Chapter 115 of the Laws of Maryland of 1978
authorizes counties which impose local transfer taxes
authorized by Article 81 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
to dedicate and expend up to 50 percent of revenues received
from the tax in each fiscal year for the payment of debts
and costs incurred for the construction of water and
wastewater facilities; and
WHEREAS, the County's transfer tax is authorized by
Section 278B of Article 81 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland; now, therefore,

AN ORDINANCE to add new Section 17-401(1) to the Anne
Arundel County Code (1967 Edition and Supplements), Title
17, "Taxation", Subtitle 4, "Erosion District Taxes", to
follow immediately after Section 17-401(k) thereof,
establishing the Snug Harbor Erosion District.
WHEREAS, by Article 25, Section 161 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland and Section 161 as amended (1978 Cum.
Supp.), the State created special taxing districts out of
subdivisions abutting or bordering upon any body of water in
the State; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of creating the special taxing
district above-mentioned is set forth in Article 25, Section
161 et. seq. of the Annotated Code of Maryland which
sections generally provide for construction and maintenance
of shore erosion prevention works, and
