MUNICIPAL CHARTERS

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL
OF ROCKVILLE, MARYLAND, as follows:

[Section 72-2 (88 of Article I - Charter of Rockville)
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Montgomery County,
added.

Effective Date November 1, 1979]

SALISBURY

(Wicomico County)

RESOLUTION NO. 207

A RESOLUTION of the Council of The City of Salisbury
proposing the annexation to the City of Salisbury of a
certain area of land situated contiguous to and binding upon
the Easterly corporate limits of the City of Salisbury,
popularly known as Schumaker Woods - Section 1 Annexation
and bounded on the East by the land John A. Malone and
bounded on the South by Schumaker Pond, bounded on the West
by the land of John A. Malone, and bounded on North by North
Schumaker Drive and being the lands of John A. Malone,
Bettie S. Malone, William F. Malone, Margarte C. Malone,
James T. Malone, Daniel H. Williams and Linda S. Williams.

WHEREAS, The City of Salisbury has received consents to
annexation, signed by at least 25% of the persons who reside
in the area to be annexed and who are registered voters and
by the owners of at least 25% of the assessed valuation of
the real property located in the area sought to be annexed,
being contiguous to and binding upon the Easterly corporate
limits of The City of Salisbury and called Schumaker Woods -
Section 1, for identification, and

WHEREAS, The City of Salisbury has caused to be made a
certification of the signatures on said consent to
annexation and has verified that the persons signing the
petition represents at least 25% of the persons who reside
in the area to be annexed and who are registered to vote in
the county elections for Wicomico County, in which said area
is located and that the persons signing the consent to
annexation are the owners of at least 25% of the assessed
valuation of the real property located in the areas sought
to be annexed, all as of May 9, 1979, as will more
particularly appear by the certification of Kenneth M.
Haensler, Director of Public Works of The City of Salisbury,
attached hereto; and

WHEREAS, it appears that the consents meet all the
requirements of law.

[Section 2 Charter of the City of Salisbury, Wicomico
County, repealed and reenacted, with amendments.
