Garrett County, repealed and reenacted, with amendments.

RESOLUTION NO. 2-79

WHEREAS, the Maryland General Assembly has enacted
Chapter 735 of the Laws of Maryland, 1978, entitled
"Municipal Infractions", and

WHEREAS, the purpose of this law is to create a new
type of offense called an "infraction" which will permit
violations of designated sections of the Charter to be
treated as civil, rather than criminal, offenses, and

WHEREAS, the Mayor and Town Council of North Beach
desire to use this law in the enforcement of certain
ordinances of the Town.

[Section 206B(21) of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Calvert County, repealed and added; Section 245(93) of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Calvert County repealed, and
Sections 246(94) and 247(95) of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Calvert County renumbered to be Section(s) 245(93)
and 246(94), respectively.

Effective Date May 3, 1979]

Resolution of the President and Commissioners of North
East, Maryland, adopted pursuant to the authority of Article
XI-E of the Constitution of the State of Maryland and
Article 23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition,
as amended), title: "Corporations-Municipal", to repeal and
re-enact the Charter of said Town of North East as set forth
in Sections 28-1 to 28-55, inclusive, of Chapter 28 of the
Cecil County Code, 1970 Edition, title, "The Code of Cecil
County, Maryland", the said Sections being the Charter of
the Town of North East.
