RESOLUTION
Resolution of the Town of Berlin to amend its charter
to provide the power to issue and sell general obligation
bonds for any valid public purposes at private negotiated
sale, pursuant to the authority of Section 12 of Article 23A
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), as
amended.
WHEREAS, in order to improve the water treatment plant
and upgrade the water mains on Schoolfield Street and Maple
Avenue and construct a new water line on Elizabeth Street
for the Town of Berlin, the Town of Berlin desires to issue
a general obligation bond which it may sell at private sale
to the U.S. Government:
[Section 73-A of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Worcester County, (Section C7-19A of the Charter of Town of
Berlin), added.
Effective Date August 21, 1979]

"GENERAL REVISION OF EXISTING CHARTER OF
BERWYN HEIGHTS, MARYLAND"
A Resolution of the Council of Berwyn Heights,
Maryland, to adopt pursuant to the authority of Article XI E
of the Constitution of Maryland, and Article 23A of the
Annotated Code of Maryland, 1957 edition as amended, to
repeal the existing charter, as amended, of Berwyn Heights
and enact a new charter to be used henceforth by the Town of
Berwyn Heights.
[Section(s) 2-1 through 2-38 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Prince George's County, repealed and
Section(s) 101 through 1008.1 of the Charter of the Town of
Berwyn Heights added.
