STATE ADMINISTRATIVE BOARD OF ELECTION LAWS
ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 23-11 of Article
33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, the State
Administrative Board of Election Laws does hereby certify
that at the Special Election held in the State of Maryland
on May 13, 1980, an Act known as Chapter 23 of the Acts of
1980 was submitted to the voters of the State of Maryland
under the provisions of Article XIV of the Constitution of
the State of Maryland, said Act being as follows:
AN ACT concerning Garrett County - Alcoholic Beverages
- Sales on Sunday. For the purpose of altering the hours of
sale on Sunday for alcoholic beverages in Garrett County;
submitting this Act to a referendum of the voters of Garrett
County; and making this Act an emergency measure.
And it is hereby certified that at said election, 2,238
votes were cast for the adoption of said Chapter 23 and
3,443 votes were cast against the adoption of said Chapter
23, the said Chapter 23 of the Acts of 1980 has therefore
failed ratification.

Maryland, Done at the City of Annapolis, this 29th day of
May, In the Year of Our Lord, One Thousand, Nine Hundred and
