AN ACT concerning

The General Construction Loans of 1973, 1974, 1975, 1976,

1977, and 1978 and the Maryland State Budget for Fiscal

Year ending June 30, 1979

FOR the purpose of further suspending the provisions of
Section 10 of Chapter 195 of the Acts of 1973
(previously suspended by Chapter 563 of the Acts of

1975  and by Chapter 707 of the Acts of 1977) relating
to the time by which projects contained in the General
Construction Loan of 1973 must be placed under contract
insofar as those provisions relate to the item
contained in Chapter 195 of the Acts of 1973, as
amended by Chapter 137 of the Acts of 1978, for the
Department of Economic and Community Development - St.
Mary's City Commission - for the preparation of
preliminary plans and specifications for construction
of a Visitor Center Complex; further suspending the
provisions of Section 10 of Chapter 195 of the Acts of
1973 (previously suspended by Chapter 563 of the Acts
of 1975 and by Chapter 334 of the Acts of 1977)
relating to the time by which projects contained in the
General Construction Loan of 1973 must be placed under
contract insofar as those provisions relate to the item
contained in Chapter 195 of the Acts of 1973, as
amended by Chapter 334 of the Acts of 1977 and by
Chapter 357 of the Acts of 1978, for the Division of
Correction - Headquarters - for the construction of a
Community Adult Rehabilitation Center in Prince
George's County; further suspending the provisions of
Section 10 of Chapter 289 of the Acts of 1974
(previously suspended by Chapter 774 of the Acts of

1976 and by Chapter 919 of the Acts of 1978) relating
to the time by which projects contained in the General
Construction Loan of 1974 must be placed under contract
insofar as those provisions relate to the item
contained in Chapter 289 of the Acts of 1974 for the
Department of Economic and Community Development
Maryland Historical Trust - for the restoration of the
Washington Monument in Baltimore City; further
suspending the provisions of Section 10 of Chapter 886
of the Acts of 1975 (previously suspended by Chapter
334 of the Acts of 1977 and by Chapter 357 of the Acts
of 1978) relating to the time by which projects
contained in the General Construction Loan of 1975 must
be placed under contract insofar as those provisions
relate to items contained in Chapter 886 of the Acts of
1975, as amended by Chapter 334 of the Acts of 1977 and
by Chapter 357 of the Acts of 1978, for the Department
of Public Safety and Correctional Services - Division
of Correction - Headquarters - (1) to supplement the
appropriation for the construction of the Baltimore
