THE ASSISTANT COUNTY INVESTIGATOR'S SALARY MAY NOT BE LESS
THAN 90 PERCENT OF THE SALARY OF RANK OF DETECTIVE SERGEANT
WITH THE MARYLAND STATE POLICE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1980.

AN ACT concerning

Life Insurance Policies and Annuities - Interest Rates

for Valuation of Policies and Contracts and the

Calculation of Nonforfeiture Benefits

FOR the purpose of increasing the assumed interest rate with
respect to the computation of reserves on life
insurance policies and annuities; increasing the
assumed interest rate for the computation of cash
values and other nonforfeiture benefits under life
insurance policies; adding a new Standard Nonforfeiture
Law for Individual Deferred Annuities; and correcting
language and style.

and 414(a), (j), and (k)
