INC.

(4) IF THE COMMISSIONER FAILS TO DETERMINE RATES LESS
THAN THE FIXED MINIMUM WAGE AS PROVIDED UNDER THIS SECTION
FOR AN INDIVIDUAL "SHELTERED WORKSHOP" OR "WORK ACTIVITIES
CENTER" AND IF A CERTIFICATE ISSUED BY THE U.S. DEPARTMENT
OF LABOR IS NOT APPLICABLE, THAT INDIVIDUAL "SHELTERED
WORKSHOP" OR "WORK ACTIVITIES CENTER" MAY REQUEST AN
EXEMPTION FROM THE COMMISSIONER. AFTER INVESTIGATION AND
HEARING, THE COMMISSIONER MAY EXEMPT THAT INDIVIDUAL
"SHELTERED WORKSHOP" OR "WORK ACTIVITIES CENTER" FROM THE
FIXED MINIMUM WAGE PROVISIONS UNDER THE WAGE AND HOUR LAW.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1980.

AN ACT concerning

Maryland Historic Trust - Funding Correction

FOR the purpose of correcting an error in transferring
certain funds for the restoration of certain structures
under the Maryland Historic Trust.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Chapter 886 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1975

Section 5(2)(J)(1)(a) and (b), as amended by Chapter

676 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1979

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL    ASSEMBLY OF

MARYLAND, That chapter(s) of the Acts of    the General

Assembly be repealed, amended, or enacted    to read as
follows:

Chapter 886 of the Acts of 1975,
as amended by Chapter 676 of the Acts of 1979
