SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section(s) 2(c) through (r) of Article 88C -
State Planning of the Annotated Code of Maryland be
renumbered to be Section(s) 2(d) through (s).

SECTION 1 2. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article - Natural Resources

8-1301.

(a) In this subtitle the following words have the
meanings indicated.

(B) "COMMISSION" MEANS THE PATUXENT RIVER COMMISSION.

[(b)] (C) "Duly designated agency" means any public

body corporate, whether exercising local or regional

authority, in any of the aforementioned counties, which
shall be officially designated by either or any of the
counties which executes the programs and purposes of this
subtitle within any of the counties. However, in Montgomery
and Prince George's counties, the Maryland National Capital
Park and Planning Commission is the duly designated agency
of these counties to carry out the provisions of this
subtitle.

(D) "PLAN" MEANS THE POLICY PLAN FOR THE PATUXENT RIVER
WATERSHED.
