Ch. 723

(2) ON PETITION OF THE CONSUMER PROTECTION
DIVISION OF THE OFFICE OF THE ATTORNEY GENERAL, AND AFTER
WRITTEN NOTICE TO A LICENSEE AND A HEARING, THE DEPARTMENT
MAY REVOKE OR SUSPEND THE LICENSE OF A DEALER IF THE
DEPARTMENT DETERMINES THAT THE LICENSEE HAS VIOLATED §§
13-301 OR 13-303 OF THE COMMERCIAL LAW ARTICLE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1980.

AN ACT concerning

AELR Committee - Operational Procedures

FOR the purpose of clarifying and specifying certain
operational procedures of the Joint Standing Committee
on Administrative, Executive, and Legislative Review;
altering the Committee's name; empowering the Committee
to rescind its approval of emergency regulations;
defining a quorum of the Committee; clarifying and
correcting language; and generally relating to the AELR
Committee.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 40 - General Assembly

Section 40A

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1978 Replacement Volume and 1979 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 40 - General Assembly

40A.

(a)  A joint [standing] committee of the Senate and
House of Delegates of Maryland is created, to be known as
the Joint [Standing] Committee on Administrative, Executive,
and Legislative Review and to have the powers and duties
here provided.

(b) (1) At the conclusion of each regular session of
the General Assembly the President of the Senate and the
