SECTION 8. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the
provisions of Section 1(9) of Chapter 795 of the Acts of
1978, be and they are hereby suspended insofar as they
impose a time limit for placing under contract the following
projects in Section 1(3) of Chapter 795 of the Acts of 1978:

Section l(3)(A)(l)(e) Board of Public Works

-  Construction of a state-owned Multi-Service
Center in Upper Marlboro, Prince George's County,

etc...........................................1,300,000

Section 1(3)(A)(1)(f) Board of Public Works

- To supplement the appropriation "State share to
construct a District Court Multi-Service Center
Building in Westminster...", etc................375,000

Section 1(3)(F)(2)(b) Department of Health
and Mental Hygiene: Mental Retardation
Administration - Planning funds for not more than
50 residential bed facility for severely and
profoundly, ambulatory and nonambulatory mentally
retarded persons in Harford County, etc.....92,000

SECTION 9. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That any
provisions of law imposing a time limit for placing under
contract projects included in item 23.05.02.01 of Chapter 44
of the Acts of 1978, "Board of Public Works - Capital
Appropriation", as found on pages 699, 700, 701, 916, and
917 of the Laws of 1978, be and they are hereby suspended
insofar as they impose a time limit for placing under
contract the following projects set forth on pages I-102
through I-111 of Volume I of the Maryland State Budget for
Fiscal Year ending June 30, 1979, submitted to the General
Assembly by the Governor:

Board of Public works: General
Acquisition of additional land (approximately
1.25 acres) adjacent to the Glen Burnie District
Court/Multi-Service Center site (Anne Arundel
County).........................................200, 000

Board of Public Works: General - To
supplement the appropriation "Construction of a
Multi-Service Center in Centreville, Queen Anne's
county....", etc...........................200,00020,000

Department of Natural Resources: Fisheries
Administration: St. Mary's Fishing Lake (St.
Mary's County) - Construction of access road and
parking.........................................150,000

Department of Natural Resources: Maryland
Park Service: Greenbrier State Park (Washington

facilities, including a concession building,
