Article - Agriculture

4-123.1.

(d) This section may not be construed to prohibit,
abridge or in any way hinder the religious freedom of any
person. Therefore, ritual slaughter and the handling [of]
OR other preparation of live stock for ritual slaughter are
exempt from the terms of this section. For the purpose of
this section the term "ritual slaughter" means slaughter in
accordance with paragraph (c)(2) of this section.

6-207.

(d) (1) A distributor shall not be required to
register any brand and grade of commercial fertilizer or
product name of soil conditioner which has been registered
under this subtitle by another person.

(2) A distributor shall not be required to
register a commercial fertilizer mixed or blended according
to a formula furnished by a consumer, but he shall label the
fertilizer in the order and form provided in [§ 6-211 (c)] §
6-210(C). However, any fertilizer mixed in advance of
receipt of the customer's specific order shall be
registered.

Article - Commercial Law

3-505.

(1)  The party to whom presentment is made without
dishonor MAY require

(a)  Exhibition of the instrument; and

(b)  Reasonable identification of the person
making presentment and evidence of his authority to make it
if made for another; and

(c)  That the instrument be produced for
acceptance or payment at a place specified in it, or if
there be none at any place reasonable in the circumstances;
and

(d)  A signed receipt on the instrument for any
partial or full payment and its surrender upon full payment.

(2)  Failure to comply with any such requirement
invalidates the presentment but the person presenting has a
reasonable time in which to comply and the time for
acceptance or payment runs from the time of compliance.
