AN ACT concerning

Maryland Racing Commission - Security Employees

FOR the purpose of correcting a technical error in the law
to provide that the Maryland Racing Commission shall
furnish security employees at harness racing tracks;
and making stylistic changes.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 78B - Racing Commission

Section 17B

Annotated Code of Maryland

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 78B - Racing Commission

17B.

Any security [guards] EMPLOYEE requested by [a licensee
licensed] THE COMMISSION under Section 17 shall be furnished
by the State. The licensee shall reimburse the State for
all costs incurred by the State for providing security
[guards] EMPLOYEES.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1980.
