HARRY HUGHES, Governor 1803 The deletion of this appropriation does comparability among law enforcement personnel by the General Assembly but does reflect the intent of the General Assembly that salary adjustments should be recommended through the Executive Branch as part of the Annual Salary Review. It is the further intent of the General Assembly that the issue of the salary level of the Natural Resources Police in comparison with other law enforcement personnel be referred to the Governor's Commission on Compensation and Personnel Policies and the General Assembly requests the Commission to review this item and submit its recommendations as part of its report to the Governor and the General Assembly. 16.
