Article - Financial Institutions

Section 11-211 11-411, and 12-412

Annotated Code of Maryland

(As enacted by Chapter ____(H.B. 1) of the Acts

of the Genera] Assembly of 1980)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland

(as enacted by Chapter ____ (H.B. 1) of the Acts of the

General Assembly of 1980) be repealed, amended, or enacted
to read as follows:

Article - Financial Institutions

11-211.

(a)  A licensee may not change the place of business
for which a license is issued unless the licensee:

(1)  [Sends] NOTIFIES the Commissioner [the
license and written notice] IN WRITING of the proposed
change; and

(2)  Receives the written consent of the
Commissioner.

(b)  If the Commissioner consents to a proposed change
of place of business, the [Commissioner] LICENSEE shall
attach the written consent to the license.

11-411.

(a)  If a licensee changes the place of business, the
licensee immediately shall [send] NOTIFY the Commissioner
[the license and written notice] IN WRITING of the change.

(b) (1) On receiving notice under this section, the
Commissioner, without charge, shall [attach to the license]
SEND THE LICENSEE an endorsement stating the change and its
date.

(2) THE LICENSEE SHALL ATTACH THE ENDORSEMENT TO
THE LICENSE.

12-412.

(a) A licensee may not change the place of business
for which a license is issued unless the licensee:

(1)  [Sends] NOTIFIES the Bank Commissioner [the
license and written notice] IN WRITING of the proposed
change; and

(2)  Receives the written consent of the Bank
Commissioner.
