(b) These machines shall be connected electronically
so as to provide a means of communication between deaf
persons and the offices of major public and private
facilities equipped with these machines within a toll-free
telephone district.

(C) WHENEVER A STATE OR LOCAL GOVERNMENTAL AGENCY
DISSEMINATES CONVENTIONAL PUBLIC SERVICE TELEPHONE NUMBERS
TO THE PUBLIC, THE STATE OR LOCAL GOVERNMENTAL AGENCY ALSO
SHALL DISSEMINATE CORRESPONDING TELETYPE TELETYPEWRITER
NUMBERS ON PRINTED MATERIAL. INCLUSION OF TELETYPEWRITER
NUMBERS MAY BE DONE AT THE TIME OF STOCK REPLENISHMENT.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1980.

AN ACT concerning

Medical Training - Accrediting Organization

FOR the purpose of altering the organization organizations
responsible for accrediting certain programs in
institutions training nurse practitioners for certain
care in this State.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Section 18-804(c)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1978 Volume and 1979 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article - Education

18-804.

(c) There is a Maryland physician assistant-nurse
practitioner training program that provides financial
support to institutions with training programs for physician
assistants and nurse practitioners in primary care in this
State. An institution may participate if its program:
