[(e)] (B) If the [inspector] BUREAU discovers or
learns there is an imminent danger existing in all or part
of a mine, [he] IT shall order immediately the person then
in charge of the mine to remove at once every person from
where the danger exists. If the person in charge of the mine
fails to comply with the [request of the inspector] ORDER,
the [inspector personally] BUREAU shall take whatever steps
[he] IT deems necessary to remove or have removed every
person from the place where the danger exists. Every person
shall remain out of all or that portion of the mine until
the danger is ended.

[(f)] (C) In addition to any other authority conferred
in this title, [a mine inspector or the Director of] the
Bureau may enter and inspect any mine to determine the
conditions of safety in that mine. If [either the mine
inspector or the Director of] the Bureau finds the mine
unsafe or operated in an unsafe manner, [he] IT shall order
the unsafe condition corrected immediately. If the mine
owner or operator fails to correct the unsafe condition, the
mine shall be closed until the condition is corrected.

[(b) If the workings of any mine approach within 300
feet of the boundary line between the mine and any adjoining
mine, the operator shall notify the district mine inspector
who shall ascertain whether the workings of the adjoining
mine, at their nearest point, are within 300 feet of the
boundary line, and he shall immediately inform the operators
of both mines. The operators shall have the approaching
workings of the mines surveyed and shown on the maps of both
mines. For the purpose of making this map, the inspector
shall give written permits to engineers of either or both
operators to enter and survey the adjoining workings of
either mine

(O The original map or a true copy shall be kept in
the mine office at the mine, for the use of the mine
officials and inspectors, and for the inspection of any
person working in the mine whenever he reasonably desires to
review the map or true copy.

(e) The operator shall furnish the district mine
inspector a good blueprint or other exact copy of the
original map for his official use. Every six months the
operator shall furnish an additional copy showing any
extensions. The blueprint or other copy shall remain in the
Bureau's custody and may not be made public without the
operator's consent

(f) If a mine is worked out or abandoned, within 60
days the operator shall extend the map of the mine to show
clearly all worked out or abandoned territory He shall
furnish the district mine inspector with a good copy of the
map, and a copy shall be sent to the Bureau to be kept as a
