Vehicle Laws - Driver's License Suspension
FOR the purpose of repealing the provision for specifying
the circumstances under which the Motor Vehicle
Administration shall reinstate a person's license to
drive that has been suspended after the person has been
rejected for insurance by the Maryland Automobile
Insurance Fund and failed to furnish evidence of
required security; amending the provisions pertaining
to the suspension of a driver's license as a result of
insurance cancellation, termination, or lapse;
providing for the issuance of a "Maryland Only" license
to certain driver's license applicants who have been
suspended in another jurisdiction as a result of
failing to comply with the financial requirements; and
specifying conditions for reinstatement of a suspended
registration; and generally relating to the suspension
and reinstatement of automobile registration and
drivers' licenses for insurance related reasons.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section(s) 16-113(d) and (e), respectively,
of Article - Transportation, of the Annotated Code of
Maryland be renumbered to be Section(s) 16-113(e) and (f),
respectively.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That section(s)
of the Annotated Code of Maryland be repealed, amended, or
enacted to read as follows:
