(B) FOR ANY LICENSED RACETRACK IN WORCESTER COUNTY,
RACING MAY BE CONDUCTED ON SUNDAY WITH THE APPROVAL OF THE
HARNESS RACING BOARD AND THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1980.

CHAPTER 375

(House Bill 196)

AN ACT concerning

Hearing Impaired Persons - Mental Hygiene

FOR the purpose of defining certain terms; establishing a
treatment program to provide outpatient mental hygiene
care and treatment for hearing impaired persons and
their families; requiring that the program be
established in a certain locality; establishing an
advisory committee for the programs facility; providing
for the membership of the advisory committee;
establishing the duties of the committee; establishing
certain duties for the Secretary relative to the
program; establishing criteria for the training and
experience of certain staff members; requiring funding
for the program; providing that the program will be
reevaluated by a certain date; providing that the
treatment program will be terminated after a certain
date unless reenacted by the General Assembly; and
generally relating to a mental hygiene treatment
program for the hearing impaired.

BY adding to

Article 59 - Mental Hygiene

Section 70 through 74 75 to be under the new subtitle

"Mental Hygiene Services for the Hearing Impaired"

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1972 Replacement Volume and 1979 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:
