AMOUNT EQUAL TO THE TOTAL OF POLITICAL AND NEWSLETTER FUND
CONTRIBUTIONS MADE BY A NONFIDUCIARY INDIVIDUAL TAXPAYER IN
THE TAXABLE YEAR, AS DETERMINED, CALCULATED, AND LIMITED BY
THE PROVISIONS OF § 41 OF THE FEDERAL INTERNAL REVENUE CODE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1980, and shall apply to all
taxable years beginning after December 31, 1979.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 78B - Racing Commission

28.

Notwithstanding any other provisions of this article,
racing may NOT be conducted at any licensed racetrack in
[Worcester County on Sunday, with the approval of the Racing
Commission and of the County Commissioners] THIS STATE ON
ANY SUNDAY.

(A) NOTWITHSTANDING ANY OTHER PROVISIONS OF THIS
ARTICLE, RACING MAY NOT BE CONDUCTED ON ANY SUNDAY AT
LICENSED RACETRACKS IN BALTIMORE CITY, ANNE ARUNDEL,
BALTIMORE, HOWARD AND PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTIES.
